I think all or almost all of the playmats you see on Etsy are made in China, and I don't think any of the Etsy sellers are big enough or have enough influence to dictate quality control or mandating the need for approval before process changes are made.

So, I look for (1) Is the item priced appropriately, (2) Is there any value added on top of what other stores that use the same companies are offering; (3) How quickly the order is processed and how soon the shipment arrives, and (4) how good is the customer service from the Etsy store.

Zeonic Designs has consistently done very well by these measures, standing out most particularly with sterling Customer Service and fair, reasonable pricing. I will continue to buy from this store as new Riftbound sets are released.
